Semrush is introducing Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server compatibility for its Trends and Standard APIs, making it easier than ever to bring Semrush insights directly into AI-powered workflows.
The Trends API offers market and competitive intelligence—from traffic and audience data to growth benchmarks—while the Standard API delivers core SEO, keyword, backlink, and domain analytics for research, monitoring, and reporting.
With MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server support, AI assistants like Claude and Cursor, and other LLM-powered tools in future can now pull Semrush data instantly — no complex coding, no custom integrations, no manual setup.
How the MCP Server Improves Data Accessibility
